How does radar technology work?

The radar transmits an electromagnetic wave and receives its backscatter signal. However, it is a million times larger than the wave of visible light. Result: it easily penetrates vegetation and soil, bringing information such as:

Drone-borne Radar

Soil moisture, subsidence of vegetated surfaces, growth and plantation biomass, among others.

Fixed Radar

Identify terrain displacements even with vegetation and detect moving targets.
